Hey my fellow Vigilantes n friends :) The website has returned! I was unaware for awhile that there was a problem but that's been fixed now. There was a mix up at my hosting service and they've very kindly given me 6 months free hosting for the mistake. I'd highly recommend ESTYLES to anyone. I used to play CoD with the owner there, good guy. Both Phranx and I use his hosting and domain name service.

Yes I'm alive, and enjoying a wow break! Which I've noticed quite a few of us have been doing lately. Real life is good to get on track ;) There's a certain point you reach once u've tried every character class and spec and know u're ummm playing a bit too much :p

For now I'm just playing casually and every now and then you'll see me on Jeyla doing achievements or so. It was sad to see that you guys couldn't keep up the raiding but I can totally understand if your wanting to see more content. For now the founders of Vigilantes are still indecisive about what we're going to do. WoW is dragging on and Cataclysm just made me laugh, it might be good but I dunno.... I'm sceptical. I miss the days of Burning Crusade tbh. Level 70 should have been the cap imo.

I can be quite sure that Vigilantes will be housing a Diablo 3 guild. I'll be setting up a website for that here. We've all made quite a few friends through WoW and the Vigilantes and we're all similar in game culture. Like playing casually, but not nerd freaks like the hardcores :P I'm a bit unsure about the direction that blizzard is taking with WoW, I think it's all part of becomming a mainstream type product in preperation for their movie. But giving us everything on a silver platter isn't sitting well with quite a few of us.

I hear a few are trying out Aion. I do want to give it a test but I still think it's going to be too anime for me :p

Vigilantes have been around for many years, originating on Gorgonnash. We have always been an easy going relaxed sort of guild who aren't interested in being pro. That being said we do house plenty of very experienced players who tend not to play as many hours as some of the other guilds or who aren't in a rush to down content. We are now at a stage where Naxx (10) is on farm and we are up to OS w/2 drakes. BC we were doing Black Temple, TK, SSC, Magz/Gruul etc. We pride ourselves in housing some of the most sarcastic & "unserious" people on the realm. Raiding with V's usually involves someone other than the tank being Misdirected by a hunter (On purpose of course - *whispers* don't shine on Castigator! :P), or a tank being DI'd with a raid boss only 3% remaining (don't worry we get em down). We love helping ppl learn raiding, gearing and to develop within V.

If u're looking for a not so serious, casual raiding guild who loves it's 10 man raiding and has done in house 25's with enough of us online. Please contact one of us in game :) We take lvl 20+ but normally don't do run-throughs. Also if you're new to the realm and have a raiding background in any game, feel free to talk to one of us.

Our raid times are usually 8PM Wed-Sun and one Sat Midday.

Hi all,

We've enabled the ClanPay facility which allows any Vigilante member to donate towards the cost of running the Ventrilo server. We will be upgrading to 50 slots very soon. Phranx will be putting a link in above in the Welcome message on this website to make it easy to see how much we've raised and where to go to donate.
Next year's bill will be $155.15US

It's all totally optional and any help is always very much appreciated!

We're thinking of upgrading the Ventrilo server to 50 users. Both Phranx and I will most likely go halves in the costs at this stage. I've been paying around $84 US a year for our current 25 slot server for a few years now. If there is anyone else keen to contribute let me know and I can setup a Clanpay facilty which allows ppl to contribute money towards it.

Sorry about the website problem guys n gals. You might have noticed it was coming up as a blank white page. Phranx had a look at it yesterday n today and the problem seems to be fixed.

We'll keep an eye on it.

In recent news....
During the Saphhiron encounter 3 raid members decide to rebel and take a new approach to the fight by actually using the LEFT side! The 3 were seen dancing, running wild and generally causing havoc.

Hi guys and welcome to the new website. Phranx was a tool and lost most of the old content but we'll refill it with new and up-to-date stuff as we make it.

The site uses the new phpBB3 and Portal XL 5.0 so hopefully it'll be more secure and we'll have less bots hanging about.
