Some server optimisations along with UI customisation and 2 new CTF maps have also been released with the latest Tribes Ascend patch  :) 1 has returned due to community feedback apparently. Maybe an original Tribes map? User settings are now stored server-side.  Settings may be reset with this patch but settings should be preserved upon future patches. Official Patch Notes

Hi-Rez Studios also announced their intent to reward the very active Beta community.  When Tribes: Ascend officially releases on April 12th, all Beta players who have reached level 10 will receive an exclusive in-game Beta badge.

This game seems absolutely epic. Strikes some chords and is done a lot better than number 2 imo. What classes are you playing? We will have to make sure we do multiplayer together for more readiness :)

Well I think we all haven't really played for like 3 weeks but now might be a great time to return! Asia Pacific servers are now up and the latency is 35ms. It's amazing. We believe they will be allowing 1 free character transfer towards the end of April which kinda sucks but it's better than nothing. Me, R3belskum and Lasair have made and saved our character names on 'Master Dar'nala' PVP server so far. See yas there!

Lasair and I will be away for the month of April visiting Japan woot woot! but we will try get some game time in before then.
